Children's and Minors' Data

Our Services are not intended for, and we do not knowingly collect any personal data from, children under the age of 18. If we learn we have collected or received personal data from a child under 18 years old without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information.

To the extent any of these automated technologies are considered a personal data sale, targeted advertising, or profiling, under applicable laws, depending on where you live, you may opt out from use of these automated technologies for such uses by contacting support@gotraqly.com. Please note that some Services features may be unavailable as a result.

When you interact with the Services, there are third parties that may use automatic collection technologies to collect information about your or your device. These third parties may include:

We do not control these third parties' tracking technologies or how they may be used. If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly.

  • Speed up your searches.
  • Recognize you when you return to our Services.

Who We Disclose Your Information To

We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction.

We may also disclose personal data that we collect or you provide as described in this privacy policy:

  • To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our organization and who are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal data confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.
  • To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Traqly, Inc.'s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal data held by Traqly, Inc. is among the assets transferred.

Your Rights and Choices About Your Information

This section describes mechanisms you can use to control certain uses and disclosures of your information and rights you may have under state law, depending on where you live.

Advertising, marketing, cookies, and other tracking technologies choices:

  • Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies or other tracking technology files, or to alert you when these files are being sent. If you disable or refuse cookies or similar tracking files, some Services features may be inaccessible or not function properly. Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting that can send a signal to the online services you visit indicating you do not wish to be tracked. Because there is not a common understanding of how to interpret the DNT signal, our Services may not respond to all browser DNT signals. Instead, you can use the range of other tools to control data collection and use, including the cookie controls and advertising controls described in this policy.
  • Promotions by the Company. If you do not wish us to use your information to promote our own or third parties' products or services, you can opt out by logging into your account and adjusting your account settings and preferences or sending us an email stating your request to support@gotraqly.com.
  • Targeted Advertising by the Company. If you do not want us to use information that we collect or that you provide to us to deliver advertisements according to our advertisers' target audience preferences, you can opt out by adjusting your account settings. For this opt out to function, you must have your browser set to accept all browser cookies.

Your State Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residency, you may have certain rights related to your personal data, including:

  • Access and Data Portability. You may confirm whether we process your personal data and access a copy of the personal data we process. To the extent feasible[ and required by state law, depending on your state], data will be provided in a portable format. Depending on your state, you may have the right to receive additional information and it will be included in the response to your access request.
  • Correction. You may request that we correct inaccuracies in your personal data that we maintain, taking into account the information's nature and processing purpose.
  • Deletion. You may request that we delete personal data about you that we maintain, subject to certain exception under applicable law.
  • Opt Out of Using Personal Data for Targeted Advertising, Profiling, and Sales. You may request that we do not use your personal data for these purposes.

Important: The exact scope of these rights vary by state. There are also several exceptions where we may not have an obligation to fulfill your request.

To exercise any of these rights, please email support@gotraqly.com.

Some browsers and browser extensions support the Global Privacy Control ("GPC") that can send a signal to process your request to opt out from certain types of data processing, including data "sales" as defined under certain laws. When we detect such a signal, we will make reasonable efforts to respect your choices indicated by a GPC setting as required by applicable law.

Nevada provides its residents with a limited right to opt out of certain personal data sales. Residents who wish to exercise their sale opt-out rights may submit a request to this designated address: support@gotraqly.com. However, please know we do not currently sell data triggering that statute's opt-out requirements.

How We Protect Your Personal Data

We use commercially reasonable administrative, physical, and technical measures designed to protect your personal data from accidental loss or destruction and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. However, no website, mobile application, system, electronic storage, or online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of your personal data transmitted to, through, using, or in connection with the Services. In particular, email, texts, and chats sent to or from the Services may not be secure, and you should carefully decide what information you send to us via such communications channels. Any transmission of personal data is at your own risk.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. You are responsible for taking steps to protect your personal data against unauthorized use, disclosure, and access.

Shopify Integration Addendum

Effective Date: June 26, 2026

This addendum supplements and forms part of this Privacy Policy. It applies only to merchants who connect a Shopify store to Traqly and to the personal data we access, process, and store through that connection. Where this addendum conflicts with the main policy on a Shopify-specific point, this addendum controls. Everything in the main policy continues to apply.

For purposes of this addendum, "merchant" means a Traqly user who installs and connects our Shopify app, and "buyer" means a customer of that merchant whose data flows into Traqly through Shopify.

What the Traqly Shopify App Does

Traqly connects to a merchant's Shopify store to support meal prep, private chef, and catering operations. Traqly reads the merchant's Shopify orders and turns them into dish counts, grocery lists scaled from the merchant's own recipes and grouped by supplier, prep sheets, and packing sheets. When a late order arrives, Traqly shows the merchant exactly what changed so they can adjust production without starting over.

The connection is read-only. Traqly reads order and product data from Shopify to generate these outputs. Traqly does not write data back to the merchant's Shopify store. We process Shopify data only to provide these functions to the merchant and for no other purpose.

Information We Access Through Shopify's APIs

When a merchant connects their store, we access the following categories of data through Shopify's APIs, limited to what the app needs to function:

  • Order data, including line items, quantities, order totals, order status, delivery details, and timestamps. This is the core data Traqly uses to calculate dish counts, grocery quantities, prep sheets, and packing sheets.
  • Buyer data contained in orders, including buyer name, delivery (shipping) address, email address, and phone number. We access these fields because building accurate packing and delivery sheets requires knowing who each order is for and where it goes.
  • Product data, including product names, variants, and pricing, which Traqly maps to the merchant's own recipes and ingredients to scale grocery lists and costs.
  • Store and account data needed to maintain the connection, such as shop identifiers and configuration.

We request access only to the Shopify data required to deliver the functions described above — our Shopify app requests the read_orders and read_products scopes only. We do not request the read_customers scope. We follow the principle of data minimization and do not collect Shopify data we do not need.

Traqly receives buyer data from Shopify through the API connection. Traqly does not collect any information directly from buyers. All buyer data processed by Traqly is received through the Shopify API connection initiated by the merchant. We do not place cookies or other tracking technologies on buyers' devices through the Shopify integration, and we do not track how buyers browse or navigate a merchant's storefront.

Information We Collect Directly From Merchants

Separate from the Shopify connection, we collect account and contact information directly from the merchant when they sign up for and use Traqly, as described elsewhere in this policy. We also generate automated logs relating to the merchant's use of the app, such as sync activity and error logs, to operate and troubleshoot the Services.

How We Use Shopify Data

We use Shopify data solely to provide the app's functionality to the merchant: reading orders, calculating dish counts, generating grocery lists grouped by supplier, costing recipes, and producing prep and packing sheets. We limit our processing to these stated purposes.

We do not sell Shopify buyer data. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not use buyer data for advertising, profiling, or interest-based targeting. We do not use identifiable Shopify buyer data to train machine learning or large language models.

Buyer Consent and Opt-Out

The merchant is the controller of buyer data in their Shopify store and is responsible for obtaining any consent required from their buyers and for honoring buyer opt-out decisions. Where applicable, Traqly respects and applies consent and opt-out decisions (including any "data sale" or sharing opt-outs under applicable law) that are communicated to us. Traqly does not make automated decisions about buyers that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Data Retention

We retain Shopify data only for as long as needed to provide the Services to the merchant. When a merchant uninstalls the Traqly app or disconnects their Shopify store, and when Shopify sends us a data redaction request, we delete or de-identify the associated Shopify personal data in line with Shopify's requirements and our retention practices. Specifically, upon uninstallation or redaction request: (a) we cease all access to the merchant's Shopify store data immediately; (b) buyer personal data (names, addresses, email addresses, and identifiable order data) is deleted from our active systems within 30 days; (c) copies of that data in our encrypted backups age out within our standard backup retention window; and (d) aggregated, anonymized operational data that cannot identify any individual may be retained. The merchant's Traqly account and any data the merchant directly provided to Traqly (recipes, preferences, configurations) are retained unless the merchant separately requests account deletion, except where we are legally permitted or required to retain it.

Responding to Data Requests (Shopify Compliance Webhooks)

Traqly subscribes to and honors Shopify's mandatory compliance webhooks. When Shopify notifies us:

  • customers/data_request — we log the request and provide the merchant with the buyer's personal data that Traqly holds, so the merchant can respond to the buyer's request.
  • customers/redact — we delete or de-identify that buyer's personal data held by Traqly.
  • shop/redact — after a merchant uninstalls and the waiting period passes, we delete or de-identify the store's data held by Traqly.

Merchants and buyers can also exercise the data rights described in this policy by contacting us at support@gotraqly.com.

Data Rights

Depending on state of residency, merchants and buyers may have rights under applicable U.S. state privacy laws, including the right to access personal data we hold, the right to request correction of inaccurate data, the right to request deletion of personal data, and the right to data portability. Merchants and buyers may also have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data for targeted advertising, though Traqly does not sell or share buyer data for such purposes. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@gotraqly.com. We will respond to all requests within 30 days of receipt, or within the timeframe required by applicable state law.

Because the merchant is the data controller of buyer data, buyer rights requests should generally be directed to the merchant. If we receive a request directly from a buyer, we will direct the buyer to the merchant, notify the merchant promptly, and assist the merchant in fulfilling the request to the extent it involves data we hold.

Where Data Is Stored and Processed

Traqly stores and processes Shopify data in the United States. We do not store or process this data outside the United States.

How We Secure Shopify Data

We encrypt personal data in transit and at rest, including data backups. We keep test and production environments separate, limit staff access to protected customer data, require strong credentials for staff accounts, maintain access logs for protected customer data, operate a data loss prevention strategy, and maintain a security incident response policy. These measures supplement the security practices described elsewhere in this policy.

Breach Notification

In the event of a security breach affecting personal data accessed through the Shopify integration, we will promptly investigate the scope and impact of the breach, notify affected merchants without unreasonable delay, and comply with applicable state breach notification laws. We document all security incidents and remedial actions taken.

Merchant Responsibilities

The merchant remains responsible for compliance with privacy laws applicable to their own collection and use of buyer data, including providing buyers with required notices, obtaining required consents, and maintaining their own privacy policy. Traqly acts as a processor or service provider with respect to Shopify buyer data and processes it on the merchant's behalf and instructions.

How We Retain Your Personal Data

We keep the categories of personal data described in this policy for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described or for as otherwise legally permitted or required, such as maintaining the Services, operating our organization, complying with our legal obligations, resolving disputes, and for safety, security, and fraud prevention. This means that we consider our legal and business obligations, potential risks of harm, and nature of the information when deciding how long to retain personal data. At the end of the retention period, personal data will be deleted, destroyed, or deidentified.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time, and we will provide notice of any such changes to the policy as required by law. The date the privacy policy was last updated is identified at the top of the page. We will notify you of changes to this policy by updating the "last updated" date and posting the updated policy on the Services. We may email or otherwise communicate reminders about this policy, but you should check our Services periodically to see the current policy and any changes we have made to it.
